Computer Aided Design - used to help clothing manufacturers at every stage so they can see what each design requires and their measurements
Technical sketch of a garment - if it was laid flat. The sketch includes all stitching and seam details.
Knit garments that have been made on a knitting machine, where all the seams have been linked up.
A paper or digital template for each design. It has relevant instruction for the machinist and cutter when constructing the garment.
Series of stitches used to reinforce a specific area on a garment.
Edge finishing where a strip of fabric is incased on an edge.
